Essendon Accounts & Tax are proud to be sponsors for the Towcester Midsummer Music Festival. Established in 2003, the 23rd Towcester Midsummer Music Festival event will take place in the heart of Towcester over the weekend of 20th to 22nd June 2025 ...
Towcester Midsummer Music Festival, Melodies fill the air, Joyous summer days!
The festival is an exciting opportunity to showcase the talents of local primary and secondary schools, performing arts schools, community choirs and orchestras, music students, brass bands, local artistes and more. It includes the regular headline act, the Lincoln Noel Jazz Trio.
Performances take place in Towcester Town Hall, St Lawrence Church and at Towcester Mill Brewery!
The event will be raising funds for Towcester NMPAT (part of Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust), who change the lives of children and young people through music and the arts.
Tickets, starting at just £2 per person, will go on sale on 1st June 2025 on the official festival website and will also be available from Towcester Museum. Tickets may be sold on the door, subject to availability, so I recommend buying in advance to avoid disappointment.
Saturday afternoon and evening performances offer a wide variety for all musical tastes from folk to pop, choral to rock, including our regular headliner, The Lincoln Noel Jazz Trio. The evening will climax with the traditional fireworks display at 10:30pm in the Watermeadows.
Whilst not officially part of the festival, over the years, town centre pubs have joined in the atmosphere by putting on their own free entertainment from Friday to Sunday. Many of the musicians performing in pubs started their musical journey with the support of organisations like Towcester NMPAT.
