The economy is 'proving the doubters wrong' according to the Chancellor!

He did have a focus on prompting those out of work to return, but there was also a lot around boosting business investment, public finances and the economy as a whole. In particular, he said that it looks like the United Kingdom will avoid a technical recession and inflation would drop dramatically in 2023.
