UK Zero Rates Tariffs In Ukraine Trade Support Package

The Government has announced that tariffs on all goods from Ukraine into the UK are to be cut to zero as part of a package of broad economic support to the country ...

These measures are to support the country with its conflict by removing all tariffs that are covered by the existing UK/Ukraine trade deal. At the same time, the UK Government has hit the Russian government with additional sanctions.

"All tariffs on goods imported from Ukraine are now zero!"

All quotas have been removed as well, giving Ukraine another level of support in their hour of need. This comes on the back of Prime Minister Boris Johnston's recent visit to Kyiv.

The UK will continue to do everything in its power to support Ukraine during this brutal conflict and will help to ensure the long-term security and prosperity of the country.

Additionally, the UK has announced an export ban on technology and other products that Russia could use to take over Ukraine. Interception and monitoring equipment are included as are advanced materials and any loopholes are being closed to ensure nothing reaches Moscow.

"There are many Russian products and commodities now on the ban list!"

As a whole country, we stand unwaveringly with the people of Ukraine in this fight, and the UK Government is taking the lead in assisting the Ukrainian people in any way they can to ensure they thrive as a free and sovereign nation.
